In compliance with DL 23 July 2021, n. 105, from 6 August 2021 admission to museums and places of culture is subject to the exhibition of the Green Certification Covid-19 (Green Pass), along with a valid ID.with a valid ID.

The Green Pass is not required for visitors under 12 years of age and exempt persons on the basis of appropriate medical certification.
The Green Pass is not necessary in case of a visit exclusively dedicated to the open spaces of gardens and parks.
From 11 October (D.L. 139 of 8 October 2021) it is allowed to 100% the capacity of museums and places of culture and the obligation of maintaining the interpersonal distance of at least one meter.

It is mandatory to wear your own mask for the entire duration of the visit.

On the pathway there are points with sanitizing gel available to visitors.

Since the tours are exclusively guided in groups of up to 25 people, booking is always mandatory for groups (min. 12 adults).
And it is highly recommended for individual visitors, especially in w.e. and holidays at least one day in advance. Without reservation, in case of large flows, entry into the arrival time may not be guaranteed.

For visitors and staff’s safety, some simple rules must be followed:.
- It is mandatory to wear a face mask into the castle
- Keep yourself at least one mt apart from others
- Do not come to the castle with a temperature of 37.5 ° or higher
-Punctuality in respecting the time agreed in the online booking and in case of cancellation it is mandatory to notify the ticket office by email on or by calling 0173 613358 at least half an hour before the time of the visit.


The castle stands on the top of the hill overlooking the village of Serralunga d'Alba. To get there it is necessary to take a climb along a pebble street. People with severe motor disabilities can arrive to the entrance by car and visit the outside courtyard. The presence of architectural barriers prevents them, unfortunately, from visiting the castle's interior spaces.

Access with your dog is allowed, provided it is kept on a leash, does not disturb other visitors and leaves no trace of its passage.
A bowl with fresh water and dog mess bags are available.
Access to the castle's interior spaces is allowed for small dogs, carried in visitors’ arms.

Openings 2021 

From 15 to 30 November open only on Saturdays and Sundays, last visit at 4.45 pm and closing at 5.30 pm.
In December open on days: 4, 5 and 8, last visit at 4.45pm and closing at 5.30pm.

Guided tours only, in small groups. The visit lasts 45 minutes.
